Higher Calling Middle School Camp
Dates: 6/5/08 - 6/8/08
Cost: $230 -resident $130 -commuter
at the Jones Wrestling Center in Cleveland, Tennessee
The Higher Calling Middle School Camp is the ONLY Middle School
camp in the Southeast, and one of the few in the country. The goal
of the camp is to provide a systematic approach to wrestling. Being
introduced to new technique and shown new holds is not enough. Great
wrestlers have the ability to execute those holds in a match situation.
Our goal is to develop a series of techniques that the athlete will
be able to execute in match situations, before leaving the camp.
This camp will provide superior technique and training instruction
in a Middle School ONLY atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to
help take your Middle School team to the next level and to develop
team camaraderie over the summer. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!!
TESTIMONIALS
“Thank you for putting on a great camp!
This camp is both a camp for athletes and coaches. We will take
back some new technique as well as some great new drills to spice
up our room while improving our wrestling.”
“I have been attending camps since the late
70’s
as an athlete, clinician, and coach. I have always been frustrated
when I left because I felt that much of what was show would only
benefit the minority of wrestlers in any given room. What we learned
at your camp will benefit all levels of wrestlers. I believe that
in order to build a program, that you have to build it from the
bottom up rather than focusing on the top few in your room. Your
camp will allow all levels to improve and push one another creating
a stronger level of competition in our room.”
“Thanks for a great camp! We will be
there next year.”

“The Higher Calling Wrestling Camp was
a perfect fit for me and my wrestling program. The camp focuses
on solid basic fundamentals that all wrestlers need and adds a
faith based lesson that everyone needs to hear. The coaching staff
with Mike Hatcher, Heath Eslinger and Eric Phillips has got to
be one of the best in the country. So, every year, we drive 3 hours
from Birmingham, Al to come to this camp. They really know what
the youth of today need to excel on and off the mat.”
